H1N1 FDA Fraudulent Product List. - The FDA has expanded its fraudulent product list to include additional hand sanitizers and “FLU” protection products.
MicroArmor Inc. is a company founded on providing the most effective, safe and value added anti-microbial products. Compliance with FDA requirements in terms of product claims and product safety is consistent with our philosophy of placing our customer’s and their family’s health and well being above marketing and product claims. At MicroArmor we are interested in assisting our customers in implementing a comprehensive and practical anti-microbial regime that is based on good science and complete information.
The H1N1 threat has raised awareness regarding hand washing and the use of non-alcohol hand sanitizers. We are encouraged that many consumers are looking beyond the H1N1 exaggerated threat and product claims to become informed about the hand and surface sanitizers and disinfectants they use. Consumers should take the time to read the information regarding the hand sanitizer they are using.
And, while we are excited by the H1N1 testing results obtained by a competitor on a Hand Sanitizing product that utilizes the same active ingredient as MicroArmor’s sanitizing spray, foaming and wipe products, we will reserve formal announcement until our own independent testing results are completed. At that point we will also be submitting them to the FDA for review and comment.
